Shoes: style and styles

Indeed, you cannot judge a book by its cover, but when it comes to footwear, all designers agree that you can immediately judge a man by the shoes he is wearing! This season, there are no doubts about the way shoes can be combined with an outfit that is more or less formal.
Oxford shoes
The Oxford shoe has its shoelace eyelets placed close together at the top. Although they are relatively flexible in terms of possible combinations, the Oxfords are regarded as classic shoes that carry an air of formality. They go well with formal business suits in navy blue or anthracite grey tones.
Derby shoes
Although they are somewhat similar to the Oxfords, Derby shoes are less formal, more flexible and easier to put on. They are ideal for situations that allow a more relaxed dress code. Therefore they can be used in combination with various types of suits in tones of grey or with finely checkered patterns.
Brogue shoes
They are easily recognizable due to their decorative perforations and curved base. Brogue shoes are associated with the image of professionals, being worn by most business people. Considered a classic choice, they can be easily integrated both in formal outfits and in more relaxed dress codes.

Loafers
Indeed, shoes with no lacing are categorized as casual, but that is not the case with loafers, as they can be successfully used both with jeans and with an office suit. However, if you wear them with a suit, choose a shoe model that is simple and in dark colors such as navy blue, brown or black. For casual outfits, I warmly recommend stronger colors. The Tassel Loafer is a very popular version of the classic loafers. Tassels are a feature of the American style. They can be worn both with checkered suits or blazers and with virtually any type of casual attire.
Monk shoes
Also known as buckle shoes, they represent an alternative to the Oxford shoes, being an inspired choice for those of you who do not like tying shoelaces. They are appropriate for smart business outfits.
Chukka boots
Standing on the border between shoes and boots, they are ideal for the season we are in now. They can be worn with suits made of denser fabrics (velvet, tweed, etc), but also with chinos, slim or jeans. Caramel is the new brown this autumn, and it is perfect for this type of footwear.
Opera Pumps
Considered to be genuine gala shoes, the Opera Pumps are simple shoes, without fastening, lined with velvet on the inside and shiny on the outside. They are usually decorated with a silk ribbon bow.  They can only be worn with a tuxedo at special events, and throughout the centuries they have been worn by kings, poets and even dancers.
All these types of shoes are available in TRENDS by Adina Buzatu stores. These are the only outlets in Romania where you can find 100 per cent handmade shoes, in a rich variety of colors, made in the workshops of the famous Spanish brand Magnanni, by Ortigni (the Italian brand with a tradition that spans nearly 100 years), or by a younger Italian company, Raparo, where the masterfully crafted classic details are combined with the innovative design.
Quality is the common feature of all the shoes on sale at TRENDS. It is reflected both in the meticulous handiwork and superior leather used to create shoes like “in the olden days”.
Have a stylish autumn.
